Praying for a Good Samaritan!! I lost or was stolen… my green-old lady style wallet yesterday-used it at Winnsboro hardware, made no other stop-straight back to pie shop- then ran back to the dollar store 45 minutes later and discovered I couldn’t pay for my water, cause my wallet containing all my stuff was not in my purse! Yes I have searched my car! Yes I have contacted Kara Emig Gearner! And yes I have search the “under construction” pie shop. PLEASE… if you need the cash-ok! I need my DL. Insurance cards, Medicare card and stuff like THAT!

It’s been a good run! Opened first pie shop at “First Monday” Sept. 04.
Open 2nd shop March of 2011 in Winnsboro. Closed both of those- Winnsboro in Sept of 2015 & Canton in January of 2016. Opened in April of 2016 at this location, south of Winnsboro. Retired -the end of December 2022! BEST TIMES OF MY LIFE IN THESE 3 little PIE SHOPS!❤️

Got my cookbook today from Ganny's Pie Shop . We met this sweet lady when she had her pie shop on the mountain in Canton Texas at the flea market first Monday Trade Days several years ago she has since then closed her shop in Canton and had her pie shop in Winnsboro Texas where she lives last year when we went to the flea market in Canton we rode on up to Winnsboro and I bought my favorite coconut cream pie from her and oh my goodness Yummy's not the word and oh that meringue she has recently retired but I will always remember her pie shop on the mountain it was such a treat although her shop was called gannys pie shop we always called her affectionately 'the pie lady". Every time we make it out to the Canton flea market we will always think of and miss our pie lady.love n best wishes from Mississippi Hope you enjoy retirement you deserve it❤.

It’s official - I am RETIRED! You may have noticed… the plan to add a living quarters to the pie shop, well THAT’S not going as well as expected! It SHOULD have been finished by now! I’m going to turn my attention to getting it DONE. The pie shop will be closed-NO LONGER A COMMERCIAL KITCHEN. Once the remodel is finished- we intend to sell my house and 4.62 acres and the pie shop will be our home. When all this “crazy” is done, I’ll just be a little “cottage or hobby” baker and I’ll have more time for friends, family, fishin’ and fun stuff—- yes I have received my Medicare card!🤣🤣🤣🤣
