I think we need more reasons to slow down this time of year and into the holiday season.

Imagine…

A table covered in dried flowers.

Fresh evergreen greenery filling the room with that wonderful seasonal scent.

A cup of something warm.

Good conversation.

Learning something new.

And leaving with something beautiful that YOU made.

That’s the experience I’ve been putting together here at Jackson Creek Farm.

And soon… I’ll finally be able to tell you all about it.

✨Happy Thursday, friends!✨

There is so much to be thankful for on this Thursday but I wanted to take a moment and share about something we don’t often enough thank God for - dirt! Good dirt!

In this season of getting things ready for Spring, bed prepping with good dirt is super important.

We are very thankful for places like Solid Ground Landscape Supply for carrying pure gold compost 😉 from Humble Acres Organics!

Here’s to some super happy plants in Spring of 2027!! 🙌🏼💪

October on the farm is a beautiful yet busy season.

With only a few week left of harvest along with planting and transplanting seedlings for Spring season, it’s easy to forget to slow down and savor.

So this past week, I decided to do just that and practice creating a compote that represented a lovely meadow of Dahlias and Zinnias.

If you love Dahlias and have a special celebration like a birthday, anniversary, a shower or a homecoming, I would love to create a beautiful arrangement to make the moment more elegant.
