I’ll have another one made down the road with ALLLLL of my flavors and options added, but for now, this is exactly what I needed!

Remember those chewy, crispy, chocolatey little squares of happiness that somehow disappeared from the pantry WAY too fast?! 👀🍫✨

Wellllll… I may have just gone and made my own STAR CRUNCH COOKIE DUPE again (2 years running and this one is better than ever!!! ⭐️🍪

🚨 WELL… I THINK I’VE STUMBLED UPON A NEW FAVORITE. 🚨

Hear me out… HAZELNUT WHITE CHOCOLATE CHIP SOURDOUGH. 🤎🤍🍫

That rich, nutty hazelnut flavor + creamy white chocolate chips baked into that slightly tangy, chewy sourdough?? UMMMM. YES PLEASE. 😍

And now I have the very important question…

DO Y’ALL WANT TO SEE THIS ONE ON THE MATKA MENU?! 👀

Because I’m thinking this might just need to become a permanent sweet sourdough flavor. 🫶🏻🍞

Layers upon layers of creamy vanilla strawberry pudding, fresh sliced strawberries & bananas, crunchy cookie crumble, and a big ol’ cloud of homemade whipped cream. 🤤🍓🍌

Creamy. Fresh. Fruity. Crunchy. Sweet.

Basically, summer in a bowl… with a little Matka Kolache twist. ❤️

FALL IS COMING… and I am **SOOOOO beyond ready for it.** 🍂☕️ Give me crisp mornings, cozy sweaters, pumpkin EVERYTHING and all the fall flavors! 😍

So naturally… I had to give my sweet German pretzels a little autumn makeover. 👀🥨

My unique German pretzels get slathered in melted butter, topped with mini slices of actual pie 🤤 and finished with a sprinkle of apple pie or pumpkin pie sugar oh duh with some homemade whipped cream!!!

✨ MERCHANT MONDAY: MEET THE MATKA ✨
Hi, I’m Melissa — the face, hands, baker, dishwasher, delivery driver, recipe tester, label maker, and occasional "what in the world was I thinking?” behind Matka Kolache 😂🥐

What started with my grandma Ludie’s Czech kolache recipe has turned into SO much more than baking. It’s community, creativity, crazy early mornings, a whole lotta butter… and somehow, y’all keep coming back for more. ❤️

I’m just a mom who decided to chase a dream — and now I get to feed my community for a living. Pretty dang cool if you ask me. 🥹

You can find dang near every Saturday at the Wichita Falls Farmers Market 807 Austin with a whole slew of goodies!!

So that’s your Merchant Monday fun fact: there’s a whole lot of Melissa baked into every Matka bite. 💚
