A little about us. My name is April and my husband's name is Lee. We have 2 beautiful children John (almost 21) and Holly (almost 15).
In 2021 Holly, Lee and I were in a terrible car accident. A 17 year old ran a stop sign and slammed into us which made our car spin and flip on its side. My ankle broke so bad that the dr even said he wished it was crushed cuz atleast then he could fix it. He tried screws, plates, fake ligaments and more. When my ankle broke it tore all my tendons, blood vessels, ligaments and nerves away from my foot. 2 surgery's later my talus bone died since it was without blood flow for a while. That left me with 2 options amputate or try a new procedure that takes the bone completely out and replaces with a metal bone. I did that in November. The pain I've been in the last 3 years is overwhelming. Needless to say my life changed. I went from being a in home daycare provider and gymnastic coach to not really being able to do anything. I can work about 3 hours a day and that's all I have in me because of pain. Lee messed his back up and has issues with dizziness and disorientated which kept him out of work. Then in November of last year Lee was diagnosed with stage 3 throat cancer. Before the accident Lee worked 12 hour days bringing in 1,500 a week to provide for us. He can't work like that anymore.
So needless to say our family has been through it. With all this Lee convinced me to start baking to sell, I love to bake and everyone has always said that I was an amazing baker. I started that since that's something I can do because I can take breaks. Then we decided to get the freeze drier and add freeze dried items to my menu. And Lee decided to cut grass since he can take breaks doing that. We're both perfectionist. He will make sure your lawn looks immaculate and I'll make sure you get the freshest best tasting sweets. I won't sell it if it's not fresh, if u order I will wait until the day before to make it so it will be as fresh as possible. When you buy your sweets from me or get Lee to cut your grass, you are helping us keep our family going strong. Thank you to everyone who has kept us going and supported us.
