Hey Everyone!!! It's been a short while since I have been on and I apologize. This time of year is always hectic and there is just a lot on social media that I have been distancing myself from for my own mental health.

HOWEVER I wanted to give a Bennet update!!!! He is doing great!!! I found out today that he might even be coming home soon this summer!!!! That is amazing news!!! My family is so excited to have our friends back hopefully sooner than later!!! We have had an empty hole in our hearts for far too long.

With that, me and Chelsea, Bennet's mom, have been talking on and off about things the kids can do together once he and his sister are home! Today I spoke with JJ of JJ's Boxing & Wrestling LLC in Sun Prairie. Jayce has only been doing the kids fitness/boxing classes for a few weeks, but I have already seen improvement in her confidence as well as her stand up game :) JJ was moved by Bennet's story and is going to cover the cost of his first punch card!!! I am going to cover Lilyan's and the kids will have a great thing to do together as well as an outlet for emotions and pent up energy while learning an amazing sport. If you have a kiddo, I HIGHLY suggest looking at their kids fitness classes (tell them the cookie lady sent you!). They start each class with a quick intro and a no bullying mantra kind of thing. I couldn't love this place more!!!! It is literally everything I have been looking for for my daughter. I am just sad it took me this long to find it!

Also with that, he mentioned they do fundraisers for wrestling teams and such. SOOOOO, I might be doing some cookie fundraisers here and there in the future. :) Just throwing that out there, so keep your eyes peeled and notifications on!!!

Thanks for hanging with me!!! I am not doing any more classes in the summer, but maybe might reach out to a parks and rec to possibly do a pop up class if they have the space or maybe do a surprise DeForest Farmers' Market. Such a fun way to finish up classes until fall! We did a Spring/Mother's Day cookie set and these groups NAILED IT!!!! They definitely understood the assignment! Thanks Waunakee Village Center for always letting me decorate cookies with these amazing people!!! Until fall y'all!

Hey everyone!!! It is your last chance to sign up for our spring cookie decorating class with DeForest Park and Recreation!!!! Class is ALL AGES!!!! It will be held Tuesday April 7th!!!! Registration closes soon!!! This is my last class with Deforest until after summer!!!! Come decorate with me and have some fun!!!!

This is so sad.... 😭😭😭

We opened our doors 43 years ago without knowing what the future would bring. Along the way, we have met so many wonderful people and truly enjoyed getting to know each and every one of you.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce we will be closing our doors in the middle of June.
This decision did not come easily. Our building was sold in July to new landlords, who wanted to increase our rent by over 30%. Despite our best efforts to negotiate, they were unwilling to be reasonable and work with us.
Over the past few years, costs have continued to rise, wages have increased, and more and more people are turning to online shopping. We have done everything we can to keep our employees happy and our prices as low as possible, but with this new rent increase, continuing simply isn’t sustainable.
Being a staple in this community for so many years has meant the world to us, and making this decision has been incredibly difficult. We are deeply grateful for your support, loyalty, and friendship over the past four decades.

Due to the crazy blizzard, Cookie Class is going to be canceled today at the Waunakee Village Center . I just got off the phone with the amazing Miss Connie and they can't keep up with the drifts, the wind, and all things Wisconsin weather so the entire building is closing. They will refund you and I will hopefully see you May 4th! I believe that is the next one, but don't quote me 🤣

My last class of the year goes out with a BANG!!! These young cookie decorators were ready to go tonight!!! The creativity was absolutely bursting at the seams!!!!! Thank you guys for helping me close out another year of decorating awesome-ness at Waunakee Village Center !!!!

I had sooooo much fun with these ladies at Waunakee Village Center !!!! We did some Holiday designs and they NAILED IT!!!! Laughs were had and cookie art was created!!!! Thanks for hanging with me!!!!
