Another Des Moines Bridal Show is in the books and all done!!! So fun to meet the new bridal couples jumping all in to the adventure of marriage! Here is a sample of my new cakes.

Mmmm greens day! Giant leafy kale, herbs, lettuces, celery, marigolds, nasturtiums, and their faaaaaavorite….lemon balm. A varied diet of all things organic is so good for them. You can taste their happy life in their healthy eggs. Just send me a message if you’d like to purchase a dozen or several!

The chicken garden is so healthy for all of us! Last night I made a wonderful pasta loaded with a wide variety of herbs, spinach, etc…so fresh! Tossed with brown butter, garlic, and some sausage. I may need round two for lunch!

Hey, looooook!!! My first green egg from one of my Olive Eggers!!!! Cool! And the dark copper egg is from one of my Copper Marans! I also have several other colored eggs coming in the next couple of months as the pullets come of age. Two shades of blue, pink, and violet.
