A little life update from behind the sourdough 🤍🍞

If I’ve been a little quiet lately… life has been FULL in the absolute best (and busiest 😅) way.

In the span of what feels like five minutes, we bought a house, moved, planned and celebrated our wedding, got MARRIED 🤍, and now we’re soaking up our honeymoon in Italy. 🇮🇹🍋🍝

Behind the scenes, I’ve also been figuring out what the next chapter of Sourdough by AC looks like in our new home, including creating a new dedicated space for all things sourdough! There are still some things to get settled and figured out once we’re home, but I’m so excited to get back into the kitchen and into a routine again.

I know I haven’t been baking, posting, or popping up nearly as much lately, and I appreciate everyone who has stuck around while I’ve taken a little time to actually live through all of these huge life changes. 🥹

For now, we’re enjoying the rest of our honeymoon, eating an unreasonable amount of pasta and taking in every second of Italy. 😂🇮🇹

I’ll officially be back home September 10th and will start sharing updates about when orders, pickups, markets & everything sourdough will be returning shortly after! 🍞

Thank you for being patient with me during such a crazy, exciting season of life and for allowing this little bakery to grow and change right alongside me. 🤍

🤍 August is here! 🤍

This month is full of some of the biggest milestones of my life! 🥹

This weekend, we’re moving into our very first home 🏡, then in just a few weeks I’ll be marrying my best friend 💍, and after that we’ll be off on our honeymoon! It means August will look a little different for Sourdough by AC as I take some much-needed time to celebrate these exciting moments.

While my baking schedule is more limited this month, there are still plenty of opportunities to grab some sourdough!

And one more exciting update… our new home means more room to dream and grow. 🥹🏡 I’m so excited about everything this next chapter will bring for Sourdough by AC. I have so many ideas for new classes, products, and opportunities that simply weren’t possible before, so stay tuned! 👀

I officially sold out BOTH days this weekend, and I honestly can’t thank you all enough.

Whether you stopped by Pickle Fest at Bear Chase Brewing Company yesterday or Farm to Market on Main Farmers Market today, bought a loaf, grabbed cookies, shared a post, or simply came by to say hi, thank you for supporting this dream of mine.

Every market reminds me how lucky I am to have such an amazing community behind Sourdough by AC. Your support means more than you’ll ever know, and I truly couldn’t do this without you.

I’m taking things a little slower this August as I soak in these last few weeks before my wedding, but I’ll still be around! Thank you again for an incredible weekend and for continuing to support my business. I can’t wait to see you all again soon. 🤍🍞

Yesterday we had T W O SOLD OUT pop ups!!! 🫶🏼😭🤍 we started the day at Burn Boot Camp - Wi******er, VA and then ended the day at Black Hoof Brewing Company! Thank you SO much to everyone who came out. I loved seeing familiar faces from previous classes and markets. 🥰

🥖 Fresh Sourdough Available Today!

Yesterday’s pop-up was so much fun! 🤍 Thank you to everyone who stopped by and supported Sourdough by AC. I have a handful of freshly baked loaves from yesterday available at a special pop-up price!

🥖 Classic — $10 (normally $12) • 3 left
🍓 Strawberry Cheesecake — $12 (normally $14) • 1 left
🍫🔥 S’mores — $12 (normally $14) • 5 left

These loaves were baked fresh on Friday, July 10, and sourdough stays fresh for several days. If you won’t enjoy your loaf right away, simply slice it and freeze it! It freezes beautifully, and you can toast slices straight from the freezer whenever you’re craving fresh sourdough.
