Propane, socks, gloves, food and lots of hugs, cheer ....and prayers. No judgment on why they are living outside. A hip bakery, staffed by the homeless or folks not at a fixed address. We want to PAY IT FORWARD by serving you coffee or baked cupcakes.

And then there is this guy -> Dale!
Dale pretty much single-handedly went out into our main "tent city" to reduce the debris creep. I asked Dale - why were you the only one to take this "mission" on and actually do the heavy lifting...(?). Dale wrote (& I was granted permission to share):::>

"I'm doing this because it needs to be done and I can do it. I've lived in an encampment before so I know the challenges from a firsthand perspective. I realize I'm one of the few people willing to step in with any regularity, and a steady effort is the only thing that will get that place cleaned up. That's why I'll keep going even when the dumpster isn't there, just hauling smaller amounts away".

Our No Fixed Address rented dumpster was removed yesterday early morning. The picture on the right is what Dale and some of the tent city residents were able to remove. >>There were folks that live out there that contributed to the clean-up!!!

Thank you Pam B. She read our post. On the assault (posted for awareness of life in the woods). She had Pepper Spray delivered the very next day. Delivery to tent city today by Terry & Dawn. We are humbled & blessed for Jesus working in our lives.

This is Dale. HUGE kudos, appreciation & 💓for Dale! ⭐️⭐️. His efforts in "operation clean-up" of tent city {location unspecified} is so meaningful. Dale has gone out and cleaned up debris in the woods for no pay / no attention. He's met with the peeps that are out there but realistically - it's mostly just Dale. Our dumpster that we retained for three weeks is down to one more week stationed at this spot. Next Thursday, it will be taken away and we will pay for the tonnage of trash that we have put in there. . Yay Dale!!
