Not everything that comes out of our kitchen is picture perfect—and that’s half the fun.

Rainy days like today call for baking with the kids, making a mess, and trying a few new recipes. These giant, soft pretzels may not have won any beauty contests, but they make the BEST sandwiches.

And the cookies? Buttery, melt-in-your-mouth cookies filled with our homemade Plum Vanilla Jam. They might be my new favorite way to use a jar.

Sometimes the best things from the kitchen are the ones that look a little homemade.

Fresh from the oven… Pepper Jack Sourdough!

This loaf has everything we love about traditional sourdough—a beautifully blistered crust, soft and chewy crumb, and just the right tang—with pockets of melty pepper jack cheese baked throughout for a little extra kick.

Perfect toasted with butter, piled high for sandwiches, or served alongside a bowl of homemade soup. (We may have already turned one into an incredible roast beef sandwich… 🤤)

Made from scratch in small batches with simple ingredients and a whole lot of patience.
