Been a long time since I've caked it! Now that Grad School is over I'm hoping to get back into things. Tomorrow my baby is turning 9 and she wanted to help make a sloth cake. She doesn't like fondant so we used modeling chocolate and cream cheese icing. Delicious!

Someone turned 10 years old and wanted a light up spinning cake of her favorite band, the Newsboys! We had so much fun and Lydia and Bethany sculpted their first figures from gum paste!

Bethany (8 years old) did about 75% of this cake--the dog is sculpted rice krispy covered in Fondant (mom did the base, Bethany added all the details). The cake was a 9 inch vanilla cake with buttercream piping. Bethany did the piping with a little hand over hand help.
