We are doing a Tour of Montana for our dinner special...Lane's Legacy (Ismay, Montana) braised short ribs on a bed of Beautiful!! 😍 Highland Harmony Farm (Wilsall, Montana) purple barley, roasted carrots and Swanky Roots (Billings) delicata squash, topped with wild Huckleberry (Flathead area Montana) gastrique, and Tiny Forrest (Billings) sunflower and merlot radish sprouts. We think this dish highlights the beautiful products from around our great state. Big thanks to all the producers who put their blood, sweat, and tears into these amazing products.

So many inspiring people, which we are lucky to call friends, have a presence in Edible Bozeman. I'm always excited to read the latest happenings in the community and try recipies written by my badass cooking/writing/ranching comrades.

For this issue, I've given our simplest staple recipe that we measure all new flours by. "Aunt Diane's Buiscuits." It's about as easy and foolproof as it gets and makes great burger buns if you get tired of buiscuits with butter, jam, or gravy.

Seth's Aunt Diane cooked for the large crew at their cutting horse and angus ranch along the Musselshell River north of Winnet, MT.
