That’s why Morningstar Community Collective exists.

We are a local 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing First Night Bags for children entering foster care and Comfort Bags for individuals experiencing homelessness throughout our community.

There’s something about looking out an airplane window that puts everything into perspective. 💙✈️

As I flew home tonight, I was greeted with this beautiful view—a quiet reminder that sometimes the best moments happen when you simply look up.

This trip to Cookie Con was one I’ll never forget. I stepped outside my comfort zone, entered the Sugar Show for the very first time, met so many incredibly talented cookiers, and came home inspired. I didn’t bring home a ribbon, but I brought home something even more valuable: new ideas, new friendships, and the confidence to keep growing.

Now it’s time to unpack, get back into the kitchen, and start creating again. My heart is full, and I can’t wait to see where this journey with The Pastry Spell takes me next.

Happy Father’s Day to our household’s #1 Cat Dad 💙🐾

This year’s Father’s Day cookies were inspired by someone very special — my husband, who fully embraced life as a cat dad and wouldn’t have it any other way. From snack distribution to lap duty and everything in between, he’s earned the title 🐱✨

I had so much fun creating these cozy cat-themed cookies to celebrate the day.

This custom baby shower cookie set is officially complete and I couldn’t be happier with how it turned out. I loved bringing this sweet lemon-inspired theme to life with hand-decorated iced vanilla sugar cookies and thoughtful packaging details to make the set feel extra special.
