I started Adventures of Cake, LLC, May 2023, in the hopes of making a positive impression in the community. Adventures of Cake is a home-based bakery with a mission: To provide high-quality, professional and delicious products, while fostering relationships and building community with every individual and business we work with. Currently, we are a license-exempt home bakery, with licensing on the near horizon.

Hello my friends!! Boy howdy, do we have news for you!

I won’t make too many posts about it, since this is cake land. But if you want to follow my journey and where it’s headed next, give us a follow ! Right now we’re only on instagram, but our website should be up and running at www.hadleyhillvt.com so you can check that out if you’re not on IG.

My kids and I are jumping into the polymer clay world. Our message is simple, and similar to what Adventures of Cake stood for a very good reason, because we wholly believe in it.

We believe that life’s transitions are some of the hardest periods to go through, and whether your transition is growing up (you couldn’t pay me to do that again) or growing into someone new (for me, it was becoming a mother and figuring who I am outside of “mom”), Hadley Hill wants to equip you and encourage you to be bold in who you’re becoming.

We want you to feel confident in who you’re meant to be, even if that wasn’t who you were yesterday. And confidence starts with the choices you make in the morning, the way you present yourself. So we’re going to make earrings to help you feel beautiful, confident, and strong.

Follow along and get ready for our brand launch, coming this spring!

That’s right, my last class is this month! And we’re going out on a bang, with these incredible burn away cakes.

Tuesday February 24th, from 6-8 pm.

When you register, you’ll see that you can either send me your customized images and I’ll print them on edible paper with edible ink, or you can use the ones I provide.

Either way, you’ll be sent home with an entire cake you’ve made yourself, to amaze your friends and family! Plus you’ll have the skills to do it again on your own.

Ps - Adventures of Cake is still looking for someone to take over the reigns, so keep spreading the word!

UGH this is so hard! Share this post and let's get someone else their next big Adventure.

I decided to get tested for celiac at the very end of last year, since we hit our deductible and I thought - might as well! - since I've been more or less gluten intolerant for the past year and a half or so. But trust me - I still tasted and tried all my goodies to make sure they were up to my standard and yours. I didn't actually think the results would come back as conclusive .... but alas, here we are. No more tasting, no more trying.

Parroting the announcement photo, I've decided to sell Adventures of Cake. I'm open to entertain any and all offers at the moment. So, a larger bakery wanting to expand their item menu, or someone wanting to start their own bakery from home - ready to expand and grow - without the work of starting up, right now I want to get the word out. Does someone in marketing want to pair up with a baker and jump into something that has been proven to turn a profit?

Adventures of Cake has been my life for the past two and a half years, and this year was going to be big: rebrand, expand, the works. But now, I think it's just primed for the next person to take what I've made and make it what it was meant to be!

Hello! Can I introduce myself?

If you’re new or if you’ve been around a while, I want to say THANK YOU for coming on this adventure with me!

I’m Jamie, and I’m the owner, baker, marketer, ECT… behind Adventures of Cake!!

I started Adventures of Cake in May 2023, in a Hail Mary attempt to follow my dreams and encourage others to do the same, regardless of where you are in your adventures. Because no matter where I’ve been in life, the strong ups and the hard lows, art in the kitchen has been there for me - and I want it to be there for you, too.

When I’m in the kitchen, I’ll be jamming (loudly) to one of three playlists on repeat, deep in an audiobook, or listening to the Gilmore guys podcast.

When I’m not in the kitchen, I’m with my 3 incredible kiddos and the best husband in the world, or channeling my creative hyper-fixations of face paint or making earrings.

Drop a comment on something in your life that’s been bringing you joy lately - or stop by the Champlain Valley Expo this weekend for the VT Holiday Gatherings market, and tell me in person! I love connecting with people over cake - it’s my favorite part of my job. ❤️

It's time once again!

Come and finish your holiday shopping while supporting small businesses!

Adventures of Cake will be there with bells and whistles (not literally, but we're VERY excited), and also cake pops and cake pucks.

Did you know that you can grab a cake pop and puck from this market, store it in the freezer until Christmas, with no loss in quality? Or you can place an order for pickup in Williston at a later date. We'll work to make sure your stockings are stuffed and your dessert tables are set with the best, handmade, and unique treat this holiday season.

Hiya folks!

I’m wholly, incredibly grateful for the number of people who are letting Adventures of Cake be a part of their own adventures. Birthdays, random treats, corporate gatherings, it’s all so surreal! Every single order makes my day a little more special.

I don’t do sales often, but when I do, it’s because I want to THANK you for shopping local and small in a society where it can honestly be hard to do so. That’s why we’re doing a Black Friday/small business Saturday (oh, and Sunday) sale where you can get 10% off your order!

Want to plan ahead for the holidays? Order now and place the date you want to pick up (or have your order shipped), so you can get the planning out of the way.
