I’m Kayla,
owner & baker behind Wildflour Harvest 🌿
This little sourdough business started with a simple intention: to highlight the God-given goodness of simple foods!
The name comes from Luke 12:27 “consider how the wildflowers grow” 🌸
When I first started playing around with sourdough, we were in a really tight financial spot & during that, God kept bringing me back to Luke 12:22-28. He taught me to trust Him fully - in every way, even when things felt uncertain.
A lot was stripped away materialistically during that time, but the Lord used it to shift my heart toward simplicity.
I began to see food differently.
I started making things from scratch, caring about what we were feeding our bodies, & finding purpose in the little things.
What started as something small in my kitchen has grown into something I’m really grateful for. I truly believe God has been guiding this from the beginning!
It’s been nearly a year & a half since turning my love for sourdough into a small business & I feel like we’re finally getting to the next step for this little micro-bakery! I can’t wait to share with y’all what that is soon!! 🥹
