I 100% know it is due to lack of talent and that I have no idea what I'm doing... but! I'm blaming my terrible cake decorating on my terrible cake decorating equipment. lol

I was finally able to get a double layer cake without the top layer sliding off and it looking overall even. Frosting.... I'm working on. It tastes good though.

My pumpernickel bread recipe has three different flours, plus cornmeal, plus coco powder.... the cornmeal I processed myself from locally sourced farmers, the flour I milled myself. It hurts on a different level when the bread doesn't do the bread thing and flattens while baking.
