38 Ye have heard that it hath been said, An eye for an eye, and a tooth for a tooth: (Ex. 21:22-25 ¶9-2)
39 But I say unto you , That ye resist not evil : but whosoever shall smite thee , on thy right cheek , turn to him , the other also.

•Things of spiritual manner validate exemplifying spiritual understanding. Keep for instruction, spiritually, the statute manner (Matt. 6:12 ¶2), “Forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.”
37 But let your communication [something said including the thought ] be, Yea, yea; Nay, nay: for whatsoever is more than these cometh of evil .

Conclusion to Matthew, Chapter 5 ¶6
In the pronominal language of soul Jesus' words teach us that the old law is still unfulfilled when mortal communication as the fathers, sons, and holy ones is based on a self-existent sense of an unknown God who continues to be ignorantly worshipped.

34 But I say unto you, Swear [take oath] not at all; neither by heaven [as the abode of God]; for it is God's throne [a stately seat, impl. power]:
35 Nor by the earth [the world]; for it is his footstool [place beneath]: neither by Jerusalem [foundation, peaceful]; for it is the city [to bustle, warfare] of the great King [foundation of power].

•Things of spiritual manner validate exemplifying spiritual understanding. Keep for instruction, spiritually, the statute manner, “Give us this day our daily bread.” (Matt. 6:11 ¶2),
31 It hath been said, Whosoever shall put away his wife, let him give her a writing of divorcement: (Deut. 24:1-4 ¶1)
32 But I say unto you , That whosoever shall put away his wife, saving for the cause of fornication [indulge unlawful lust], causeth her to commit adultery [apostatize ]: and whosoever shall marry her that is divorced committeth adultery [a male paramour ].

Conclusion to Matthew, Chapter 5 ¶5: The Bible is a primer that teaches the old Judaic practices of law and the new Israelite practice in judgment of the law. The pronominal language of soul indicates how Jesus, through his spiritual insight into the immortal sense of soul, taught us to pray daily to be in control of the mortal senses of the body.

30 And if thy right hand offend thee [to entice to sin ] cut it off, and cast it from thee : for it is profitable for thee : that one of thy members [a part of the body ] should perish [to destroy fully], and not that thy whole body [as a sound whole ] should be cast into hell [everlasting punishment].

26 Verily [truly] I say unto thee , Thou shalt by no means come out thence [from that place ], till thou hast paid [to give away, i.e. up, over, back] the uttermost farthing .

Conclusion to Matt Ch. 5 ¶4: The fourth precept considers what Jesus taught regarding the moral covenant “thou shalt not kill.” In moral/immortal prophecy he restated human laws in fulfillment of divine judgment through exemplifying spiritual understanding.
