Bakery Update: Good News First!

In other non-gluten-free news…
We are dropping off our Cranberry Pecan bread at Tebbs Farms & Greenhouses tomorrow! Supplies are limited and they won't last long—we completely sold out at the market in just 30 minutes on Saturday, so grab yours while you can!

An Important Update Regarding Our Gluten-Free Bread

Now for a more difficult update regarding our bakery. Right now, John is the sole person baking our bread. With a recent surge in both our restaurant orders and drop-off orders, our current capacity has reached a point where it is physically impossible to keep up with the demand for our gluten-free loaves.

Because of these time challenges, we have to temporarily stop making gluten-free bread.

We know how much many of you rely on and enjoy our gluten-free options, and I am so sorry for the disappointment this will cause.

We are actively working on solutions so you don't have to go without for long! A couple of ideas we are considering:

Monthly Drop Days: A designated day once a month where you can pre-order and stock up.

Local Retail Partnering: Making batches to stock locally in the freezer section at Tebbs Farms & Greenhouses

Head on over to Tebbs Farms & Greenhouses and grab yourself some deliciousness - all of which are paired perfectly with fresh sourdough that was dropped off this morning!

🚨 TWO NEW BOWLS + TWO SOUPS TOMORROW! 🚨
Apparently we’ve decided that if we’re going into comfort food season, we’re going ALL IN. 😂 And tomorrow’s cooler lineup might be one of our favorites yet!
🥔 NEW! UPSIDE-DOWN BOLOGNESE SHEPHERD’S PIE BOWL — Think shepherd’s pie… flipped upside down with a little Italian twist. We start with REAL homemade mashed potatoes made from Yukon Gold potatoes, salted butter, half & half and fresh mozzarella. Then comes the Bolognese. We sauté celery, carrots and onions in butter with garlic, add the beef, then crushed tomatoes, tomato sauce and seasonings and let it all come together into this THICK, rich, hearty beef Bolognese. We pile that over those creamy mozzarella mashed potatoes, add MORE fresh mozzarella and finish it with a couple slices of our own mild peppers & oil. 🤤
🧅 NEW! FRENCH ONION CHICKEN BOWL — This one took TIME, and you can taste it. We start with white rice and mozzarella, then ladle over tender cubed chicken cooked in a rich sauce made with Chardonnay, homegrown garlic, beef broth, beef bouillon and chicken broth. But the STAR is those onions. We slowly caramelized sweet onions for HOURS until they completely broke down, turned that gorgeous deep golden-brown color and developed that rich, almost melt-in-your-mouth French onion flavor. A couple big spoonfuls go over the chicken, followed by MORE mozzarella. And all that savory chicken broth works its way down into the cheesy rice underneath. 😍
🍜 CHICKEN CORN NOODLE SOUP — You already know this one! Our truly homemade chicken corn noodle soup with white-meat chicken breast, homemade chicken stock, homegrown carrots, celery and sweet onions, noodles and, of course, absolutely LOADED with our own super sweet corn. There’s a reason you guys keep asking for this one!
🥣 CLAM CHOWDER — Thick, creamy, hearty New England-style clam chowder loaded with tender clams, bacon, potatoes, onion and celery in that rich, creamy, savory chowder broth. The kind of soup that practically requires a chilly fall day and a big piece of bread. 😂
