Details from our booth at FIELD + SUPPLY! We had a great weekend at one of our favorite markets in upstate New York.

We especially loved getting to share our holiday collection with folks in person for the first time! Don’t worry if you missed out—lots of fun stuff coming to our online store soon!

The wooden wares were a hit this weekend!

A personal favorite this season has to be the packaging for our board butter. The design for the tin is a beautiful paper cut by Jacob Goble

You all have loved the broom kits so much we wanted to continue the fun with brush kits!

The brush kits are a bit quicker and easier than traditional broom making kits, coming together in less than 20 minutes. They’re perfect as a gift or as a fun, practical craft you’ll actually use.

Katharina Berger taught us this brush making technique and Jacob Goble designed the packaging

We’re still not over the newest colorway for our holiday packaging! Hand-marbled, as always. All the gift sets on our site are now available in this gorgeous palette.

A sneak peak of a new colorway for our gift boxes! Just in time for fall and the holidays.

Hand-marbled, as always.

Happy October, friends!

We’ve been keeping busy around the shop, filling our usual orders while planning for the holiday season.

Soon, we’ll be releasing new products, kits, and gift sets, so stay tuned!

After so many mornings and afternoons in the field, we finally have beautiful broomcorn in our studio.

We hope that each broom made with this crop carries a little piece of the land, the season, and the hands that brought it here. If you’d like to have a bit of this year’s harvest at home, be sure to take a look at our wreath-making and farm-to-home-broommaking kits live on our website. You can also get the broomcorn all by itself if you’d rather.

And, as always, so much gratitude to Lazy Eight Stock Farm for helping make this dream of ours feel a little more possible every year.

Woke up this Monday morning feeling so much gratitude —

For an abundant harvest and the many hands that made our work lighter

For Bryce, Anna, and the crew at Lazy Eight Stock Farm for making the dream of growing broomcorn in our community a reality

For Honeysuckle Churchill's for two days of wonderful meals and a place to gather

For everyone who taught and attended classes, some traveling many, many miles

For The Daily Yonder and Center for Rural strategies for the support

All of you made this weekend of land connected craft possible! Til next year :)

It’s almost time!

This weekend is our favorite time of the year— our Harvest Party!

This week we’re spending time on the farm to make sure we have everything we need for a great harvest. If you’ve already registered, we can’t wait to have you! If you haven’t yet, there’s still time. Though Bethany’s classes have filled up, the rest have plenty of room!

As always, message us with any questions.

Since we have less than two weeks til our annual Harvest Party, here’s bit about growing broomcorn and why we like to harvest it together

Hope to see you in the field with us on September 19th and 20th! All of our classes for the weekend are listed on our website.
