Weeks ago, I put in a request to my library to carry this new memoir by local restauranteur Katie Lee with Katie’s Pizza & Pasta Osteria, and I was pumped to be the first patron to borrow it! There's soo much to do this week but I don't want to put this book down! It's neither warm & fuzzy nor a how-to, but I can't help but reflect that if she can succeed despite so many odds & obstacles, then surely I can also find success in my own tiny slice of the local bakery scene. Feeling inspired! 😊 St. Louis Foodies: this is a must-read!

Join me for a fun Pop-Up Event next Saturday, October 24!

I will be at Good News Brewing Co. in Wildwood (2603 West Ave., 63040) from 4-10pm, offering made-from-scratch pies by the slice. So come enjoy the afternoon playing outdoor games with craft b**r and wood-fired pizza (and pie for dessert, of course! 😉) in a family- and dog-friendly setting!

I will also be offering a special feature flavor available this day only: the Good News Hazelnut Stout Brownie Pie! This pie is so rich and fudgy, it eats like a meal!

Pies will be sold by the slice, allowing you to snag your favorites AND sample what's ahead for the holiday season! We hope to see you there!

Thanksgiving is right around the corner, but it's ALWAYS pie season here at Francesca's Fine Pies! I make 100s of pies all throughout the year. It's my specialty! I offer seasonal, elevated flavors you can't find anywhere else.

My Thanksgiving menu will be released soon! It will have a limited number of seasonal flavors that will be the talk of the Thanksgiving table! Stay tuned for all the details!

ONE MORE DAY until Labadie Station's Fall Outdoor Market! I'll be there with 30-ish other makers, bakers, and crafters, showcasing a delicious line-up of my favorite Fall pie flavors! (And the classics, too!) There will also be a chili cook-off presented by the Labadie Community Association! So grab your friends and make a day of it!
