Riverside Bohemian is happy to announce LISA JIMENEZ as our featured artist for September! A few words from the artist:

" I am a Wichita- native painter that has been creating now for about 15 years. I started painting on a whim because I was looking for a new hobby and found that I truly enjoy it and it has added so much to my life. I love nature; trees, mountains, water and moonlit skies and that is reflected in most of my work. I also have been creating versions of our Wichita flag. I'm looking forward to sharing my work with everyone."

Want to perform at WFF but not on the lineup? here’s your chance ♾️

Riverside Bohemian is opening up the mic. Bring a poem, an acoustic song, or something simple you want to share. We’ll have a very basic setup with a speaker and mic, so this one is best for stripped-down performances.

Local poet Mystic Leoine will be our host for the night.

Quick reminder on Minisa, especially for kids and parents starting the school year:

13th Street North is fully closed at the bridge. Traffic is detoured utilizing McLean, 21st Street North, and Waco Avenue. 13th Street remains open to local traffic from Waco to Bitting for access to local businesses and North High School.

Beginning Wednesday, August 12, the bridge will be open to pedestrian traffic only, with an anticipated opening to cars this fall.
