Bringing back focaccia Friday!! It's gettinf to the end of summer so what better way to celebrate than with smores. I'm so happy how nice and toasty the marshmallows came out. There's a whole layer of Hershey chips under there. And the focaccia has chocolate and cinnamon with a hint of vanilla! The picture doesn't it do it justice. Forgot to take a Pic when it got out of the oven!!

Orie's Garlic Fest is on September 13th. I've told anyone that will listen to me, even strangers. It's amazing how many people have never heard of the best event of the year!!! So make sure you tell anyone and everyone about Orie's Garlic Fest. Even strangers!!! Remember, a stranger's just a friend you haven't met. Also, here's a picture of our much improved black garlic brownies that we'll be serving.

Got to try this place out today. The staff was absolutely lovely. I got the steak teriyaki bowl with noodles instead of rice. The steak was a bit on the tough side, but otherwise the flavors were decent. I got a combo meal and chose edamame as my side. They were piping hot and perfectly salted. We would definitely go again.

Can't win them all. We tried making black garlic brownies and these did not turn out great. No worries. That's why we bake practice snacks...up next S'mores cookies. We'll see how these turn out.
