The Grinch Cake! ❤️🎅🏼🎄🎁 💚

It is the end of my journey in “The Greatest Baker” competition, but not the end of my journey in being the greatest baker I can be!

From the very bottom of my heart, I want to thank every single one of you who voted for me! Making it to the quarter-finals in a nationwide competition is a pretty big accomplishment in my books…and it would not have been possible without YOU! I believe I have the most amazing supporters in the world, and I am just at a loss for words at the amount of love I have received throughout all of this!

Before starting my business, I was an Area Manager at Amazon and a Transportation Planner at Koch! Both of these were my dream companies to work for as a freshly graduated college student! I was a straight A, honor roll student my whole life…so I had high expectations for myself and my career. I expected to thrive in the corporate world with an incredible salary and great benefits. But my mental health had hit rock bottom…and I knew I wasn’t going to be able to keep going. Many people ask why I chose to leave such a stable, financially beneficial,
“real” job. And I will tell you why - I wasn’t happy. It’s as simple as that. This life is so short, and I decided I don’t want to spend it forcing myself to be what society tells me to be. If you were to ask me what my dream job is, it is to make people happy. It is to bring a smile to people’s faces, to help others in any way I can, to make people feel heard, seen, and understood. When I leave this earth, I want to be remembered for how I made people feel. I want people to say, “Callie was a really good person”. Not “Callie was so rich”, “Callie was so successful”, “Callie was so smart”. Because that stuff doesn’t matter to me. What does matter to me is feeling as though people see my heart and soul. That they leave a conversation with me feeling better about themselves. That they know they are loved by someone, even if it is a stranger.

Cakes By Callie is more than just a business to me. It is my way of doing what brings me peace. My way of giving back to others. My way of showing others that you can do whatever you set your mind to. YOU are in charge of your own life, so do what makes YOU happy.

With that being said, it looks like recent algorithm changes are impacting how many of you see my posts. I have seen a significant decline in the amount of engagement on both my personal and professional pages. To stay connected, make sure to turn on post notifications and actively engage with my content. If you stop liking my content, you will stop seeing my content. WICKED CAKES 🩷🫧💚✨

I have advanced to the TOP 10 in “The Greatest Baker” competition! 🤯

❕You guys…I am still shadowbanned and it is really affecting my content 😩 At first, I thought I wasn’t getting as much interaction as I used to because my cakes weren’t looking as good, people were just getting bored, or I was posting too much and no one cared anymore 🥹 But after talking with numerous people, they said they don’t see my stuff when they open up Facebook! So I went to both my personal and professional page…and sure enough, I am shadowbanned because of my free cake giveaways and a copyright because I used a song I thought was approved of on one of my wedding posts 😔 I have taken down all of the posts that went against their policies, but my pages are still not getting recommended to you! So I would appreciate if you could show some extra love on my posts! I used to get hundreds of likes and comments…now I’m lucky if I can get 50! Which is incredibly disappointing because I feel like my content is just getting better and better 😢❕
