It appears that many of the extremists were aroused by lies from their shadows and therefore participated in the insurrection. At their trials or interrogations, it would be interesting to hear why they chose to do what they did and if they would name anyone in particular who encouraged them. I fear that a “sleeping giant” has been awakened and that these extremist groups will not want to go back into the shadows. The report from CNN about such groups in other parts of the world was frightening.
It appears that some citizens are still spreading conspiracy theories.
Why can’t the truth be told by all the news stations? Does freedom of speech entitle US citizens to spread lies?
Quote: “You shall know the truth and the truth shall set you free.” There are too many people in this country bound by lies. The sad thing is that they believe these lies are truth. Their beliefs are so deeply embedded that they refuse to listen to reason and change their minds.
What is the remedy for brainwashing?

From a friend
To my canning friends, I’ve been meaning to share this for awhile now. Growing up my mom always canned a soup starter from garden stuff and would add some frozen things. She also used the water bath. We loved having this but with me working it was very time consuming so I learned to use the pressure canner. For the past few years I have been working on a more simple version to get one that could just be opened up and heated. The timing was one issue where some of the veggies took longer to cook than others etc.. Anyways here is my recipe with amounts to do just one run (7 qts.) using everything frozen except for potatoes, onion, celery.
2 28oz. Bags frozen mixed vegetables
1 cup frozen field or crowder peas
1 cup baby Lima beans
1/2 cup black eyed peas
28-30 oz cans seasoned diced tomatoes (like basil, oregano, garlic)
28-30 oz diced tomatoes
32 oz V-8 juice
32 oz beef broth
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon minced garlic
1 1/4 cup chopped onion
1/2 cup chopped or sliced celery
3 cups potatoes diced small
I chop the onion and celery and put in freezer bag and flatten and put in freezer ahead of time. Just lay them out to thaw while dicing potatoes and measuring. In a very large bowl mix everything together then transfer to stock pots. (I use two). Heat to a boil and then cook for 10-15 minutes. Have your jars ready and hot then fill the jars leaving 1 inch space. Process at 10 lbs. pressure for 85 minutes.


When I open a jar to eat I add ground beef or left over roast and a can of rotel tomatoes and maybe more broth or some liquid to accommodate the meat to make it soupy. Hope this will help someone to enjoy coming home to a good bowl of soup this winter. I have spent NUMEROUS hours figuring the amounts and doing research on timing to get it to come out the way I want. Don’t worry if you don’t like peas, my husband hates them but he likes this. You don’t really taste them that much in this.
