A lot of kids in our neck of the woods are doing lemonade stands, and our kids wanted to jump on that wagon, too!

Tomorrow afternoon Morgan and Chloe will be having a table at the end of the driveway with lemonade, cookies they worked VERY hard on almost completely by themselves, and Chloe's beaded bracelets and keychains.

They're working on raising spending money for some road trips we have coming up this month, so stop on by!

I'm super late posting this, but this was Chloe's birthday cake! When you turn the big 1-0 and are a bit of a diva, mama makes a makeup cake!

The cake is vanilla confetti style with American buttercream frosting. The compacts and pallets, lipstick, nail polish tubes, and brushes are made of fondant. I'm super happy with how the brushes came out!

I love baking, I love my job as Head Cook, and I love my kids.

But sometimes I'm just tired. 4 AM is so early five days a week.

So as much as I love baking cool treats for my family for their school holiday parties, sometimes I only have enough energy to make cake mix cookies.

And that's ok, because these chocolate and peanut butter cookies taste great and are in a cute bag for delivery in the morning.

So if you're tired and need sweet treats for your kids- here's a cheat:
-1 box cake mix
-1/2 c oil
-2 eggs
-1/2 mix ins of choice
-Mix, roll into 1" balls, and bake at 350 for 10 minutes. Makes 24 cookies. You're welcome.

Today is Small Business Saturday!

I just want to take a moment to shout out to all the lovely customers that ordered baked goods from me this year. My family and I are very grateful for the support you have given us in 2024. Without customers, I wouldn't have a cottage bakery business and wouldn't get to do the thing that I love- bake for people! So thank you!

With that in mind, I still have several holiday cookie kits available! I will be taking orders until tomorrow evening.

What's included in a kit?
-12 unfrosted vanilla sugar cookie cutouts
-4 packs of colored butter cream frosting
-2 packets of sprinkles

Cookie kits will be available on December 14th unless otherwise arranged. I'll take orders until November 30 or until sold out. Payment will need to be made up front via cash, check, PayPal, or FB pay.

Mary with My Martial Arts of Lakewood asked me for some back to school/ session start cookies for the kids as a welcome back treat.

These turned out so cute! The sugar cookies are modeled after the karate uniforms the kids wear using vanilla royal icing.

I had an order for a farewell cake for a local business that had been open for 50+ years. The owners are retiring to enjoy their golden years together ❤️

The cake is vanilla, filled with lemon curd, and decorated with vanilla buttercream frosting.

I had the pleasure of making an angel food cake for a customer last week! It came out fantastic, and she was very happy.
