Some berry and bee education. So while we love the bumble bees who continue to pollinate our berries, we have a new bee in town who is much more destructive. Part of growing organically is that you get both the beneficial insects and the destructive ones.
The yellow jackets have arrived and are chomping away at our berries. Over half the berries are now destroyed. Apparently they seek out sweet berries this time of year before they go back into the ground.

Finally finished cleaning up our strawberry patch. Now it is ready to rest for the Winter. Also got some berries picked before the rain and sorted out pumpkins.
David also got the wildflower field mowed.
