I make cakes out of my home bakery in White Castle, LA, and Wedding cakes are my passion! If time permits, I will also make special occasion cakes of all kinds. Call me if you would like to discuss your wedding cake and make an appointment for a tasting!! I have a minimum order of $100 (not worth getting the kitchen torn up for less!), so we are talking about a really special cake- not just a basic cake you can get anywhere else.

Exciting news today! I had my friend Beth come to help me make my
Amond-vanilla bean tea cakes, and we have some for sale. $20 per dozen. ( sorry everything has almost doubled on me !)

After many years making thousands of cakes, it’s time to retire. On July 27, 1995 we said “I do” to each other! Thirty-one years later, we said yes to becoming foster parents at the Louisiana Baptist Children's Home and Family Ministries! Today we had orientation and will soon start training to follow the call of God. I will be retiring from the cake business so that we can focus on this new phase of our lives. We are so excited to see what God has in store for us!
I have several more weddings on the books plus a few other cakes I have committed to make, but I will no longer be accepting any more orders.
It has been my absolute privilege to be a part of the special moments in your weddings, birthdays, showers, parties and other events. I will miss all my sweet customers and friends. Thanks for the memories!🩷🩷🩷

Cake Decorating Class!!!

Ok it’s official- we will have a hands-on, in-person cake decorating class! I know there are tons of videos out there, but nothing takes the place of feedback of someone guiding you in person as you are learning.
This is a beginner class consisting of 3 consecutive Saturdays:
Dates: July 11, 18, 25
Time: 9 am-11:00
Place: Westside Community Church
57945 Trosclair St.
Plaquemine, LA
Ages 14+ (sorry I cannot accommodate younger children).

Your spot in the class is reserved once payment is received. No refunds, but the class spot is transferable if you cannot attend after payment is made.

Each student is to bring their own supplies. Message me and I will send the supply list.
This is a comprehensive beginner class where we will discuss baking, making different textures of icing, how to level and frost a cake professionally, as well as several popular cake decorating techniques. I can’t wait to share tips from my 40+ years of cake decorating!
This is possibly the only time I will be able to take this opportunity to teach this class. There is no guarantee that I will have classes anytime soon.
