This cake really had me thinking… I feel like the back of the cake is like the dark side of the moon. Never seen, always wondering what’s back there. 🌑😂

All jokes aside, this was a fun highland cow cake to make! Moist vanilla cake with chocolate fudge icing. The fondant face and horns were a fun challenge, but I am so pleased with how they turned out!🐮

“Nothing runs like a Deere”… especially when it’s completely dye-free 💚🦌

This John Deere “5”th birthday cake was such a joy to bring to life, especially getting to create exactly what the birthday boy asked for: a combine harvester cake with ducks 🚜🦆

Moist vanilla cake + vanilla buttercream, and I was told it was “absolutely amazing, exceptionally great, and not too sweet” 💚

I was honestly so impressed with how vibrant the colors turned out using no artificial dyes at all.

This was my first fully decorated kids cake for this business (and my first time doing something like this in almost a decade)… and I truly see the Lord’s hand in it. He gave me the ability, the creativity, and let everything come together so smoothly.

All glory to God for the gifts He’s given me and the opportunity to use them to serve others 💛

Most people say “He has risen”… but we say “He IS risen.”

That one word changes everything.

We aren’t just celebrating something that happened two thousand years ago. We are declaring a reality that is true RIGHT NOW.

“He has risen” points to an event.
“He is risen” points to a living Savior.

Today isn’t just about an empty tomb, it’s about a living Jesus who is still moving, still saving, still alive.

When Jesus was on the cross He said, “It is finished.” The work was done, but the resurrection was God’s response. It was the Father saying, “The payment was enough, sin is fully paid for, death has no claim anymore.” The cross was the payment and the resurrection was the receipt stamped paid in full.

So, don’t just celebrate… respond.
If He is alive right now, that means He is present in your life right now. In your home, your struggles, your questions, your everyday moments.

Take a second today and ask yourself: Do I live like Jesus is alive… or just like He once was?

Because if He is risen, then He is still near.
Still speaking.
Still working.
Still inviting you to walk with Him… today, not someday.

And more importantly, He is coming back. It could be in several years or it could be tomorrow. Are you ready?

Turn from your sin and surrender to the Lord. Rest in His peace.

He is risen. He is risen indeed. 🤍

Chocolate lovers… this one’s for you! 🍫🎂

This cake is a rich, decadent chocolate fudge cake layered with chocolate cake, chocolate frosting, and a smooth fudge filling with fudge brownie crumbles inside. It’s finished with a silky chocolate ganache drip and chocolate chips. It looked too simple at first, so I added a touch of edible gold glitter for that little sparkle! ✨

I’ve been loving making these cakes recently, and I’ve also got some exciting event cookie plans in the works. I can do cookie platters, displays, and cookie tables for any events or gatherings. So keep an eye out for some new posts coming soon! 🍪

As always, I’m grateful for every opportunity to bake and create. This week the Lord has been having me hold onto this verse…

“I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me.” Philippians 4:13

It’s probably one of the most well known verses, and I think one that’s often passed over my mature believers, but it’s a fantastic reminder that whatever our week holds, our strength doesn’t come from ourselves. 🤍

If you saw my last post, you’d know I made a peach cobbler cake… well I couldn’t help myself, I had to experiment making a recipe for peach cobbler cookies… and let me tell you, they’re as good as they look! 😍

They are bite-sized, a little over 2 inches, and PACKED with flavor! Sweet, spiced, peachy, cozy.. all the peach cobbler vibes in cookie form.

I originally made them just to test my recipe and add a few to the cake order, but they turned out so tasty, I cannot justify the dough living in my freezer.

Peach Cobbler… but make it cake! 🍑✨

This beauty is a cinnamon vanilla cake layered with peach cobbler filling, covered in a brown butter frosting, and topped with more peach cobbler filling and cobbler crumble!

I was so excited when I was asked to make this cake! I haven’t sold a cake since culinary school several years ago, but it was like riding a bike! And I couldn’t help myself, so I made a second smaller cake for myself! And it was DELICIOUS! 😆😋

Despite peaches not being in season, this cake still tastes absolutely phenomenal! I can’t wait til The Peach Truck comes to town this summer, I will for sure be making this again with those delicious peaches! 🍑
