We love a busy but fun cake weekend!

So I’ve been baking a looong time. Longer than I care to admit haha. In all this time I have always created from my heart. Never have I ever imagined entering any sort of contest for baking or decorating. But when I was approached about entering a cake for the Ohio County Fair contest at Oglebayfest and found out that the cakes get auctioned off to help 4-H kids go to camp and for students interested in a future in agriculture I knew I wanted to enter and hopefully help them make a few dollars. (even if I had to buy my own cake back 😂)
When I say I am humbled and grateful and still in shock I truly mean it….. this cake, A Foggy Fall Night, sold at auction (not to me lol) for $100!!! So thank you to whomever bought it for helping the future of our students and I hope the cake tasted great 💚

Big thanks to The Cookie Cove for these adorable Easter cookies! They are the perfect centerpiece on the dessert table.
