Akasya just turned 10, but she has already discovered the joy of traveling and seeing the world, thanks to her adventurous parents! ✈️🌎

She visited Turkey this summer and absolutely loved it, so her birthday cake had to be all about her trip! 🇹🇷💕

Once in a while, every cake designer has the pickiest client who doesn’t pay! 😂❤️

“I want a cake with a little girl fairy in a fairy-tale house, surrounded by pink flowers and magical mushrooms, with her friend, the Red Fox. And I want this cake to be different from any other kids’ cake. Oh, and by the way, make it dairy-free — we have an allergy in the family!”

We followed the instructions to a tee! 🧚‍♀️🌸🍄🦊

And what was my payment?

“I love you, Grandma!” ❤️

All our experiments with Breton Tarts have turned out beautifully, but this one is truly exceptional! ✨

Imagine a buttery, crumbly tart layered with walnut-caramel crunch, pear confit poached in white wine, and caramel ganache with Brie cheese. 🍐🤎

It’s a whole new level of sophisticated dessert — an incredible combination of textures and flavors that comes together beautifully.

It sold out within the first hour of being on display! 😍

But don’t worry — we’ll be making them again next week. If you’d like to try one, I highly recommend calling ahead and reserving yours, because they won’t last long! 💕

After 20 years in the custom cake business, you would think we’ve made kids’ cakes in every possible theme — every popular game, toy, book, and cartoon you can imagine!

But this Dumplings-themed cake is a first for us! 🥟🎂
