Hi Wildcats: We are getting closer to our 50th Reunion and working on invitations, but we need your help. If you know of any classmates that haven't attended and want to come to the reunion, please let us know. We need their addresses to send them an invitation. You can private message me here (Terri Phillips) or if you are on Facebook with other classmates on the committee, private message them with the address. (Chris Leonard, Pam Traubert, Vivian Elliott, Linda Ernest, Erin Cuffaro, Mary Lynn May, Beth Gruber or Terri Mulkey) If you have moved in the last 5 years, please send us your updated address. We would love to see as many classmates come to the 50th Reunion. This maybe the last one we have, so it's important to reach out. Can't wait to see everyone. Look for your invitations coming soon!

Hi Wildcats we have recently lost another classmate. Jeff Neider passed away on March 26. Some of you will remember Jeff as a Ritchie student too. We understand he had cancer and had fought a long fight. 😢💔Please keep his family in in your prayers.

Hi fellow Wildcats. We have some sad news to report. James "Jimmy" Nixon passed away on December 4. Jim was born on July 11, 1958 and was employed by Johnson Boiler Works. More information can be found on Altmeyer Funeral Home's website. Please keep Jim and his family in your prayers.

SAVE THE DATE!!! 50th Reunion for the Class of '76 Wheeling High Wildcats will be held on Saturday, September 5, 2026 at Wheeling Park White Palace - 1st floor (Old Hall of Champions area. The room has recently been remodeled.) This will be dinner and dancing for classmates and spouses or significant others.
The committee is still planning the Friday evening classmates only party for September 4th. More details to come about the cost for the reunion at a later date. Mark your calendar's today! Spread the word to other classmates not on this page. We would love to have a great turnout!

We have some sad news to report. We have lost 3 more Wildcats. Marlene Barbe passed away on August 13, Bobby Reddy passed on August 23, and John Krenzel passed away on August 24. Please keep their families in your prayers.

We are starting to plan our big 50th Class Reunion. The committee has been discussing August or September of 2026. Please post your preference and we will try to select the month that most of you would like to attend. Would Labor Day Weekend work for most of you? Let us know your thoughts and we will let you know about the dates and place very soon. We are also thinking about a Friday night for just classmates too. Hope to hear back from everyone! We have some sad news to report, William "Bill" Calvert passed away on Saturday, April 19. Bill was retired from Consolidated Coal after 28 years of service. He is survived by his wife of 34 years, Deborah (Taylor) Calvert, daughters, Shauna Hickey, and Cassandra (Evan) Gorman, and 4 grandchildren. His brother, Brian Keith (Tori) Calvert and a sister, Donna Morris and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 29, from 5-8 p.m. and again on Wednesday, April 30 from 11 a.m. until the time of the service at Kepner Funeral Home, 166 Kruger Street, Wheeling. Please keep Bill and his family in your prayers.

Sad news...we have lost another Wildcat. Patricia Elliott Beever passed away on November 26. We also lost two of our former teachers, Arden Watson passed away on December 15, and Janet Rodriguez passed away on October 25. Also, the former Superintendent of Schools, Hank Marockie passed away on December 13. I thought the Wildcats would like to know that many people from our past are leaving this world for a better place. Say a little prayer tonight for each one of the them.
