📚☕️ Plot twist: I found my new favorite coffee truck at a SOCCER TOURNAMENT. ⚽️😂

I was expecting soccer.
I was NOT expecting a literary caffeine experience. 😂📖☕️

I stumbled upon Novel Brew Coffee Truck and… excuse me?! 😍📚 The whole thing is ADORABLE. The bookish vibes. The novel-themed drinks. The names. The creativity. The fact that I can apparently combine my two favorite things—coffee and pretending I have time to read. 😂☕️📖

Naturally, I had to order the 🍌📖 BANANA BRONTË because apparently I will buy anything if you put a literary pun on it. 😂

Charlotte Brontë would probably be confused.
I would probably be confused if someone asked me to pronounce half the words in Wuthering Heights.
But was the coffee delicious? ABSOLUTELY. 😂☕️

This was truly the kind of small-business find that makes you want to yell, “EVERYONE NEEDS TO KNOW ABOUT THIS.” 📣📚

So apparently, the universe decided I deserved my middle school dance pictures… just 20+ years late. 😂

I’ve been to school dances before, but I never got to go to one with Greg. So last night, we finally fixed that very important problem. 😂🏀📸

Greg took me to the Jersey Dance at the middle school, and naturally we showed up in matching jerseys like we were the coolest couple in the eighth grade. 😂

Except there are a few minor differences…

We’re not in eighth grade.
We’re pushing 40.
He works there.
And I’m pretty sure we were both more excited about professional pictures than the actual dance. 💀😂

We stopped by his school beforehand to see our girls, and somehow we went from “just popping in for a minute” to “WAIT, GET THE CAMERA, WE NEED PICTURES.” 😂

Honestly, I’ve waited my whole life for these pictures and I have absolutely zero regrets.

Middle school dance: ✅
Jerseys: ✅
Professional pictures with my favorite person: ✅
Acting like we’re 13: unfortunately, also ✅ 😂❤️

At least this time, I didn’t have to worry about whether my crush was going to ask me to dance. I brought him myself. 😂🏀❤️
