Sonic Cake from a few weeks ago. I love making cakes for this repeat customer. Last year they ordered an Ironman cake!

Side note: I used to wake up on Saturday Mornings to watch Sonic and we also used to have many Sonic games on Sega Genesis. Anyone else? I could not believe he made a comeback!!

Also, as a parent I now understand that the person who decided to make Saturday Morning Cartoons a thing was likely a parent who valued their sleep! 😆

Over the holidays our kids decorated Cookie Houses with their cousins. The girls decorated one and the boys decorated the other. 😆

It’s a nice way to put out a classy looking spread. No, I don’t sell them but I do really enjoy making them for guests in my home! These are two of the ones that I made for Christmas.

I’m finally able to post again! Here’s why there’s been radio silence…my phone was full, my TSS apps got offloaded and I just needed a phone with more than 32GB 😂 and the video got cut off. Clearly I’m out of practice 🤪

Here’s a small update and I’ll hopefully be posting more.

Also…yes, I have been and will be continuing to take orders I have just scaled back SIGNIFICANTLY. Please get your orders in early so I can do my best to serve you! You guys are awesome, I love you and Happy New Year! ❤️❤️❤️

Four years ago I resigned from my job as an Elementary Music Teacher to raise my growing family. I was heartbroken but knew it was the best choice for our family. Out of that Tis So Sweet was born, along with my music studio.

Fast forward to now and I’ll be entering the classroom once again, only now part-time, which is perfect!

Is Tis So Sweet closing? No!
I am pressing pause on taking orders until I am able to adjust to this new norm. For now my IG and FB will turn into content creation pages. I will also post any baked goods that are for sale as well as any special events where you can grab some of my items!

I love my customers and am so thankful that you have always been understanding about the many pauses I have put Tis So Sweet on in order to prioritize my family ❤️

Our Story

Tis So Sweet Baked Goods is a home bakery in Harrisonburg, VA located on East Grattan Street. Lindsey Brown, the sole proprietor, has enjoyed the hobby of baking for loved ones for many years. After sampling many of Lindsey’s tasty treats, friends and family encouraged her to turn her love for baking into more than a hobby. The opportunity presented itself after the birth of her son as Lindsey decided to resign her full-time job in order to be a stay-at-home mom. As a result Tis So Sweet Baked Goods was launched in August of 2018.

Check with me to see what I have in stock! I bake to order so 2 weeks notice for potential special orders is appreciated. Last minute orders will be considered. All orders subject to availability.
