And we have a wrap on the 2025 season!
That being said, I am closing the bakeshop for the rest of 2025, and all of January 2026. I will taking orders for February and beyond, so feel free to email me at [email protected] your request.
You ask...why so much time off?!? 1) It was a very busy fall season, and I need a breather 2) It's the holidays, and I would like to enjoy them a bit more this year, and not be baking right up to the last minute, and neglecting my family and getting to make memories with them. 3) Finally....My hubby is having a total knee replacement surgery the first part of January, and I will be taking care of him during that time. Drs are their own worse patient's and I need him to behave! LOL

I am happy to refer you to some other amazing bakers in our local area if you need assistance. I will be checking messages, emails, voicemails etc, but may not be a real quick turn around-will do my best. I ask for a little patience.
I do hope everyone understands. I will be in and out of my office as I have some projects I plan to work on as well during this time out of the kitchen.

It has been an interesting, yet amazing 2025 year of baking, and I am grateful for all of my customers.
I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas, and a Happy New Year!

I have done something I don't think I have done before. I have appeared to have misplaced an order form, and cannot find any information on my email, inbox here, IG, cellphone etc for it. All I have on my calendar is R. Shank: cake for Wednesday, Oct 29th. SO, if this is you and you ordered a cake for the above date, will you PLEASE call me asap at 540 820-5951 so I can get the details from you. Meantime, I will keep looking through my paperwork. I know I have it on an order form, because nothing goes on my calendar without having that. I suspect it has gotten stuck between another paper, but figured it couldn't hurt to ask here first. Hoping my phone will ring, or I will find said paper first.
