James 5:8
“You too, be patient and stand firm, because the coming of the Lord is near.”
Waiting is rarely easy. There are prayers we’ve prayed for months or even years. There are answers we haven’t seen yet and doors that haven’t opened. In those moments, it’s tempting to wonder if God is still working.
James reminds us to be patient and stand firm—not because nothing is happening, but because God is faithful. His timing is perfect, even when we don’t understand it. The seeds He has planted are still growing, even when we can’t see them.
If you’re in a season of waiting, don’t give up. Keep praying. Keep trusting. Keep moving forward in faith. The same God who made the promise is the God who will fulfill it.
