🚜🌾 A Little Thank You to Our Farming Neighbors! ❤️

With harvest in full swing, we wanted to take a minute to thank all the farmers and neighbors who travel past our little homestead!

We know planting and harvest are some of the busiest times of the year. There are long days, late nights, big equipment moving from field to field, and always a million things that need to get done before the weather changes.

But one thing we've noticed and truly appreciate is how many of you take the time to slow down when coming past our place. ❤️

As many of you know, we've got some very active little boys who would much rather spend their days outside exploring, playing, and getting into just about everything than sitting inside! 😂 And of course, there's Otis, our big fluffy guardian, who likes to think he needs to keep an eye on everything happening around the homestead! 🐾

And let's not forget one of the boys' FAVORITE things about living out here… getting all those big semis to HONK as they drive by! 🚛📣😂

I swear, those boys could stand outside all day waving their little arms, waiting for the next truck to come down the road. And to every single driver who has pulled that horn for them, whether it was the first time or the millionth time, THANK YOU! ❤️

You probably don't realize just how much something so simple makes their day. The excitement, the smiles, and the laughter every time they hear that horn are absolutely priceless. And we know some of you have probably honked for them a million times by now! 😂

We do our best to keep everyone safe and where they belong, but knowing our neighbors are keeping an extra eye out, slowing down, and watching out for Otis and the kids means more to us than you probably realize.

So thank you for slowing down, thank you for watching out for Otis and our kids, and thank you for honking those horns over and over again!

That's one of the things we love most about living in the country. It's not just about the land or the wide-open spaces. It's about the people who make up our little farming community. The ones who wave when they pass, slow down for the kids, honk their horns just to make a little boy smile, and genuinely look out for one another.

Those little things might not seem like much, but to our family, they mean the world. ❤️

We appreciate every one of you, and we're praying for a safe, productive, and plentiful harvest! 🌽🚜🌾

🏍️🐢 Just another fun-filled evening here at C&M Homestead! ❤️🌾

Well, Dad did a little horse trading today! 😂 We traded off one of our four-wheelers for an electric dirt bike, and judging by the smiles, I’d say the boys approve of this trade!

We spent part of the evening outside enjoying the new toy, making memories, and getting a little fresh country air before heading inside for another exciting event… turtle feeding night! 🐢😂

Our red-footed tortoises were ready for supper, and of course, the boys had to be right there watching every bite!

It’s evenings like these that remind us why we love this life so much.

Raising kids on a homestead isn’t just about growing food, raising animals, or getting chores done. It’s about teaching them responsibility, showing them the value of hard work, appreciating God’s creation, and making sure they have plenty of time to just be kids.

One minute we’re out riding dirt bikes, and the next we’re gathered around watching tortoises eat like it’s the greatest show on earth! 😂❤️

We may not have the fanciest things in life, but we’ve got dirt roads, animals to care for, room to roam, and a whole lot of memories being made along the way.

Someday these boys will be grown, and I hope they’ll look back on these ordinary evenings and realize just how special they really were.

Because at the end of the day, it’s not about how much you have. It’s about the life you build, the people you share it with, and the lessons you pass down to the next generation. ❤️

We’re far from perfect parents, but we’re doing our best to raise these boys with faith in God, a strong work ethic, kindness toward others, and an appreciation for the simple things in life.

After all, we’re not just raising kids. We’re raising the next generation, and that’s one responsibility we don’t take lightly. 🙏❤️

❤️ 10 Years of Love, Family, Faith, and Building Our Dreams! ❤️

Today is a pretty special day here at C&M Homestead! Ten years ago today, October 8, 2016, we said “I do,” not knowing just how much life would change or what God had planned for us.

Looking back at these pictures, it’s hard to believe how quickly ten years have gone by. From two young people starting a life together to raising three wonderful boys, with a little girl on the way, building a homestead, starting businesses, and chasing dreams that once seemed so far out of reach.

It hasn’t always been sunshine and rainbows. We’ve had our fair share of struggles, long nights, hard decisions, tears, laughter, and moments where we wondered how we were going to make everything work. But through it all, we’ve had each other.

And somewhere along the way, C&M Homestead became part of our story. What started as a dream of living a simpler life, raising our own food, and teaching our children the value of hard work has grown into something we never could have imagined.

Every loaf of bread, every farmers market, every animal raised, and every seed planted represents a little piece of the life we’ve built together.

To my wife, Morgan, thank you for standing beside me through the crazy ideas, the long days, the early mornings, and everything in between. Thank you for being an incredible mother to our children and for believing in the life we’re building, even when things don’t go according to plan.

Ten years down, a lifetime to go. ❤️

And to everyone who has supported C&M Homestead along the way, thank you! When you support our little homestead, you’re supporting a family, a marriage, and a dream that we’ve spent years building together.

Here’s to another ten years of love, laughter, growing babies, growing gardens, fresh bread, and whatever adventures God has waiting for us.

Happy National Sons Day to our three boys. 💙

Being your Mom and Dad is one of the greatest blessings God has ever given us. Each of you has brought something completely different into our lives, and we couldn’t imagine our family without you.

Mason, it’s hard to believe how quickly you’ve grown up. From such a tiny little fighter to the young man you are today, you’ve made us proud more times than you’ll ever know.

Theo, you keep life interesting every single day. 😂 Your personality, curiosity, and endless energy keep us laughing and on our toes.

Oliver, our little guy, you’re growing way too fast. Watching you learn, explore, and try to keep up with your big brothers is something special.

The days can be long, loud, messy, and exhausting, but the years sure do fly by. Watching these three grow together and become their own little people is something we’ll never take for granted.

Happy National Sons Day, Mason, Theo, and Oliver. We love you boys more than you’ll ever know. 💙
