With gratitude and full hearts, we share that Bibi Café & Bakery has officially closed its doors.

Serving this town with homemade treats and craft coffee has been an absolute joy. We are endlessly thankful to everyone who supported us this year—our regulars, the families whose kids lit up over cake pops, and the friendships and camaraderie that filled our little café through every season.

Westwood—and our surrounding towns—are home to many incredible small businesses that work hard every day to stay afloat. If you’re able, please continue to support them. They are the heartbeat of our community.

Zesty Lime Icebox Cake🍋🎄

If you love a dessert that balances creamy sweetness with a zesty kick, this is about to become your new Christmas favorite.

Perfect for holiday hosting, this "make-ahead" treat is light and refreshing,

Market Tip: Use Persian Limes (the standard green ones) for that perfect punch of flavor!

The Recipe ⏱️ Prep: 10 min | ❄️ Chill: 5 hrs | 🍴 Serves: 10

Ingredients:

1 ½ cans Table Cream (or Heavy Cream)

1 can (14 oz) Sweetened Condensed Milk

½ cup Freshly squeezed Persian Lime juice

1 pack Graham Crackers (or Maria Cookies)

1 cup Whole milk (for soaking)

Optional: Lime zest for garnish

Instructions:

The Cream: Blend condensed milk, cream, and lime juice until thick and velvety.

The Base: Quickly dip Graham Crackers in milk (don't let them get soggy!) and line a glass dish.

The Layers: Alternate layers of lime cream and soaked crackers until the dish is full.

The Set: Finish with a cream layer. Cover and refrigerate for at least 5 hours (overnight is best!) so the crackers soften into a cake-like texture.

The Finish: Top with fresh lime zest and serve!

How to do it: After the big Christmas dinner, pass around some scraps of paper and envelopes. Everyone writes down a goal, a wish for the whole crew, or a little note to their "future self" for next year.

Hey BiBi fans. As we close in on our first year under new management, we’d like to send out a thank you to our wonderful clients; you’ve made this hard work so much fun for us. We’ve enjoyed baking for you, serving you, and building an atmosphere that feels more like family than a business.

Along the way, we’ve had some struggles. Occasionally we’ve missed the mark, and our dedicated team has worked tirelessly to improve. We’ve stabilized our products, and on the whole, we’ve heard positive reactions to the changes we’ve made. We are now baking our hearts out daily with a small but incredibly gritty team. We appreciate the patience Westwood has shown as we’ve grown and worked out some of the kinks. We value your feedback, and we will continue to try to meet your expectations.

Now, it’s up to you. We are Westwood’s only craft bakery, making homemade treats in a warm, friendly atmosphere where you can hang with friends and family. But we cannot survive without your support, and if we’re being honest, we need more of it.

Please come visit us - try our made-from-scratch, baked-fresh bakery products. Stop in for a warm holiday drink. Enjoy the holiday atmosphere we’ve built and the staff who aim to please.
