Maddux Family Reunion The 70th Reunion!! The reunion is held in Westport, Indiana on the second Sunday in June every year. Gathering at 12:15 Lunch @ 1p.m.

The 2026 reunion will be on June 14th @ the Westport Wesleyan Church Fellowship Hall.

The 70th Annual Maddux Reunion is just 8 weeks from this Sunday!
We'd love for as many of the families of Omer, John and Stanley Maddux as possible to join us on June 14th at the Westport (Indiana) Wesleyan Church fellowship hall at 12:15pm with a pitch-in meal at 1:00pm.
Please share this post; also let us know if you can make it.
With only a few of the boy's children remaining and attending, let's make it a banner year!!

Hello Everyone!!! Well it's almost that time of year again! The 69th year of the Maddux Family Reunion will be held on June 8th at the Westport Wesleyan Church in the community building.
We will be providing the meat, Ice, and Corn. Everyone please bring a side dish, dessert, your favorite drinks, plates and utensils. We will be planning on arriving at 12:15 and eating at 1pm.
CAN'T WAIT TO SEE EVERYONE!
COMMENT BELOW IF YOU CAN COME and if you want to comment what you plan to bring that will be helpful to have a variety. Also please vote on your choice of meat in the comments. Hand breaded homemade tenderloins, grilled hamburgers, pulled pork, sloppy Joe, or fried chicken. See you all soon!!

David Earl Maddux passed away on July 4, 2024 in Las Vegas, Nevada.

David was born in Westport, Indiana on April 3, 1939 to Stanley and Pearl Maddux. He attended Sandcreek High School where he excelled in sports and became a local star. He joined the United States Air Force in 1957 and faithfully served our country in this role for 23 years. In 1959 he married Linda Martin, his wife of 45 years, and together they raised 3 children, Terri, Mike, and Greg.

Upon completion of his air force career, he entered a second career in the gaming industry where he fondly adopted the name “Poker Dave” and enjoyed dealing poker for 20 years. It was here where he met Deborah Kivisels and later married on November 27, 2010. Deborah was faithfully at his bedside when he passed.

David enjoyed a happy and full life of working, baseball, golf, playing cards and in his latter years attending church at Central Chrisitan Church. He is missed.

David is preceded in death by his father and mother, Stanley and Pearl Maddux; two brothers, Bob and Joe Maddux; four sisters, Margaret McCullough, Rosemary Maddux, Lois Holzhause, and Rachel Brophy.

He is survived by his wife Deborah Maddux, his 3 children and their spouses; Terri and John Jackson, Mike and Lise Maddux, and Greg and Kathy Maddux; and their mother Linda Maddux; 6 grandchildren and one recent great grandson. He is also survived by 3 sisters, Harriet Cruser, Bonnie Sims and Barbara Faidley all originally from Westport, Indiana.
