Though we have no storefront, Batter & Bowls offers a variety of shelf staple baked goods, candies, and other items.

Batter & Bowls will have a table set up at The Coffeehouse, this Saturday from 10-4PM, for Small Business Saturday.

Yummlies will include homemade marshmallows, breads 🥖🥯, fudge, hand pies 🥧, and Chocolate Coffeebean cookies.

Supplies will be limited, but the yumminess won’t be!!

See you Saturday!!

After much reflection, we at Batter & Bowls have decided to retire at the end of March. That is why you keep seeing cookies being retired from the menu.

Elderly parents, homeschooling the grandson through Middle and High School, as well as things that just need our undivided attention at home, played a huge role in our decision.

We appreciate each and every one of our customers, as well as The Coffeehouse for such a wonderful opportunity to be part of something bigger.

Again, our cookies and other treats will be available at The Coffeehouse through the end of March. Support local. Oh, and Bon Apetit!!

My Story

Welcome to the page of Heritage Catering & Crafts/ Heritage Crafts & Farmstand!

My story started in 2001, with my acceptance into the Culinary Arts program at Pierpont Community & Technical College (I’d been cooking and baking since I could understand the instructions on recipes so, why not parlay that into a way to earn a living?) While earning my Associate’s Degree in the Culinary Arts, I was selected as Student of the Year, worked with individual instructors catering private events, and had my dessert selections featured at Higher Education Day at the West Virginia Legislature.

After graduation in 2005, I was an Instructor for Event Planning at the College, as well as Sole Proprietor of my own catering business, until 2006, when I went to work at West Virginia Wesleyan/ Aladdin Food Service as the Catering/ Assistant Director .

Then the grandson came along (need I say more?) and I took a hiatus from the culinary arts and food service management.
