And if you’re an IU fan like me, it’s been an especially fun way to ring in the year celebrating the Hoosiers’ Rose Bowl win — a little hometown joy that made this first week back in the kitchen even sweeter.
This week’s menu reflects the comfort and simplicity of January, with a seasonal persimmon loaf, a bright lemon sourdough sweet bread, and the everyday favorites many of you return to week after week — all baked from scratch in small batches, just like always.
