About 20 minutes ago, a post was shared in another Facebook group about us ending our Donut Trail giveaway early today.
We wanted to provide a little context.
Today, we served more than 1,000 guests through the promotion. The response was incredible and far beyond what we anticipated. Because of that overwhelming turnout, we had to stop giving away donuts about 2.5 hours before the event ended so our bakers could catch up and continue producing fresh donuts.
Our team has been working nonstop all day. Baking thousands of donuts isn’t pushing a button—it’s hard, physical work done by real people who were doing everything they could to keep up with demand.
We’re sorry to anyone who missed out on a free $1.95 donut. We truly are. But we’re not sorry for taking care of our staff. At some point, the people behind the counter and in the bakery have to matter too.
To the many customers who showed patience, kindness, and understanding today—thank you. The support from this community is the reason we do what we do, and we’re grateful for every one of you. ❤️🍩
