The Fat Girl Bakery Baking the way our Grandma’s did. Well, with a touch of the way I want to!!! I bake things that taste homemade and look that way because they are!!

No fondant here. I make everything from scratch that I can. I highly encourage cupcakes to replace whole cakes for weddings and birthdays. We can mix and match and make your event delicious!!

Thank you, thank you to everyone who came to visit. The amount of brownies I made and thought would be left 🤦🏼‍♀️ Should have made more. Someone suggested a brownie and cookie only event on game day. Sounds interesting. Might consider. 😬. Missed you all so much 🩷

Amy Whalen is having a Fat Girl Pop Up! SUNDAY (so Noah can be here) July 26th from 8 am - 1 pm, earlier if sold out!!! First come, first served - brownies, oat bars, buttercream sugars, Buckeye bars and banana pudding. Will announce address closer to date. Think of it as a yard sale with nothing but sugar. May have sausage gravy and biscuits too! Cash and Zelle only.

My loves! Thank you so much for your kind words. Bottom line: between my cancer and that last year at the new location, it financially killed us. My wonderful Duane did all he could for me. It’s a total financial issue. But I’m praying about this still! (It would be a smaller scale that what it was.) I feel the bakery had a giant extended family with our customers. It’s YOU who are amazing. Keep praying too and if it’s meant to be - it’ll happen🩷🙏🏻
**Just to say, my docs rock, too. My PC Dr D❤️, oh Missy D. You keep me alive. Can walk because of my foot doc, The Wizard of Cozz, Dr C. And my husband and he could chat super brain people talk for hours. Plus alllll the amazing nurses and other docs I’ve seen. How do you ever thank these people???

Today is my grandson Aiden’s 8th birthday. I remember sharing with you my excitement about his arrival and numerous pictures of his sweetness 🩷 as he grew. What an adorable human he is. Thank you for loving me and the bakery. We miss you. Blessings my friends.
