Ending August with a full calendar, a full heart, and lots of buttercream!

What an incredible honor to present a cake decorating demo at World Food & Music Festival Big thanks to everyone who came out to support (especially the SweetDudes fam ❤️) and to Greater Des Moines Partnership & Midwest Living for the amazing opportunity!

Between the first week of school, weddings, other sweet celebrations, and another busy week ahead, things have been non-stop.

I will be at the World Food & Music Festival this Saturday for a live cake-decorating demo! I’ll be showing how I pipe and use palette knife buttercream floral wedding cake.

It has been such a busy week in the kitchen, but I had to pause and share these!

I had the best time creating this mini flower and succulent garden for Project Furniture’s annual floor model sale! Mini cupcakes are the perfect bite-sized treat for a store event, and I am so in love with how this color palette came together.
