🔥🔥🔥Combo Trip! 🔥🔥🔥
I had Cody and his family out and they straight up smashed the fish today. These trips consist of 6 hours and man it payed off at the end.
First we got our limit of catfish with Bubba’s Punch Bait. We culled out and kept nothing but 13 inches and bigger, which gave them 4 gallons of fillets.
Then we went looking for Sandbass, we had 22 in the box and headed in. Guess what, on the way back we found them schooling, so we spent an extra hour catching these schooling fish until they disappeared. We ended up with 2 gallons of Sandies. Total on the Sandies was 45…
I’ve got the 15/16 open next week and this Saturday cancelled. Let’s go catch what ever you want!

I had Roland Johnson Sr. out on a Single Fishing Trip and it was a MONGO CHANNEL CATFISH morning. All fish over 15 inches which ended up giving him 2 gallons of fillets. We had our limit quick and decided not to Sandbass fish and cull out our smalls. I have June 15/16 open next week! Let’s Go fill them freezers..

Bubba’s Punch Bait

This Weeks Report:
Catfish,
we are catching them between 20-25ft in the trees. We are chumming with cattle cubes and using Lake Tawakoni’s #1 bait Bubba’s Punch Bait. Fish are stacking up on baited holes and the water temp last week was from 74/77 degrees.
Hybrids,
They have been more tough in the mornings than evenings. Not a lot birds working in the morning, but if you can find some. It’s game on! Evenings have been fire. You can just troll 15-20ft off humps and be ready for that late evening top water action. Schooling, we have seen more in the late evenings.
Sandbass,
We been catching them on live bait 25/28 ft deep off of points. Sandbass have been schooling every morning if you can find a group doing it. Chartreuse Slabs have been our choice on schooling fish.
