That’s a wrap on another Farmers Market season!
As we pack away the signs, tables and market-day supplies, Aliza and I just want to say THANK YOU to everyone who helped make this season possible—and to everyone who stopped by, shopped, visited, played, ate, created, volunteered or simply helped spread the word.
A special thank you to the Eagles Club, the City of West Point and Franciscan Healthcare for partnering with us and giving us a place to bring the market to the community throughout the season. We’re grateful for the space, support and willingness to try something a little different from one market to the next.
Vendors: some of you have been part of the market for years, while others joined us for the very first time—even at our Harvest Market. Every one of you matters. You don’t just show up with your goods; you put in the hours to grow, bake, make and create them, and then you bring along family, friends and customers who help give the market its energy. We couldn’t do it without you.
Thank you, too, to the businesses that donated prizes and supplies, the Volunteer Fire Department and local organizations that added to the fun, BAT Academy and friends who helped take the activities up a notch, and all of the people behind the scenes who pitched in along the way.
The market keeps shifting and changing—and honestly, that’s part of the fun. Each year, and sometimes each market, gives us something new to build on. What hasn’t changed is how much we appreciate the people who believe in the market and help make it what we envision it can be.
Aliza and I are so grateful for each of you. Thank you for making room in your Saturday mornings, bringing your talents and ideas, supporting local vendors and helping us make the market happen.
Now we’ll give everyone a little time to miss us.
Until next season—see you at the market!
