Though several days late because of a respiratory illness, I wanted to make my final post to the business page saying goodbye to 2024. There were a lot of hours spent at the bakery and a lot of memories made. I had the absolute best customers and appreciate each and everyone of you for giving me the chance to practice and improve my skills each and every day. Though I could not juggle everything going on in my life and maintain this business as well, it will forever hold a special place in my heart, as will all of my customers, and the fantastic employees that helped me along the way. Goodbye 2024.

I haven't found the time to make this post, but I know I need to make the post at this point.

Next Thursday, October 17th will be my last day in the store front. This business was always meant to be supplemental income, as I work another full time job. However, I have not been able to keep reliable help, custom desserts take significant time and energy, and I simply do not have all of the extra time that is required. I have been pulling 16-20 hour days on a regular basis in the last several months, and still have to be back around 7 to open the shop. And now that I am running the store front myself, I am having to close multiple days a week to meet the obligations of my other job. It is not sustainable for me any longer.

I do want to thank the people who have been amazing employees to me in the past. We have all made so many memories together in the kitchen. I want to give a special thanks to Shaina Wheeler for jumping in and covering the shop whenever possible, I appreciate it more than she will ever know.

I will still be taking custom dessert orders, and I will keep the business page to make contact easy for my customers. I hope you all stick around and keep ordering your favorite desserts from me. They will still be baked in a commercial space, just without all the overhead of a stand-alone bakery.

And lastly, thank you to all of those who have supported my business throughout all of its stages. I love and appreciate you all. ♥️

This was my first time doing a glow in the dark cake, but I was super pleased with how it looked under the black light! While the neon luster dust wasn't cheap, I was too impulsive not to get it for this project. 🤣 And I'm so glad I did. :)

Congratulations to Hannah and Josh on their new life together as husband and wife!

This was my first time getting to do a fall color theme on a wedding cake, but it turned out so cute!

I didn't get a picture of all 100 cookies stacked together, but I loved the presentation on these individual wrapped cookies with the bow and sticker combo.

Cake: Triple layer 8" chocolate cake with chocolate ganache and homemade strawberry compote fillings, frosted with vanilla buttercream.

Cookies: Classic sugar cookies with a caramel royal icing
