Saturday aug. 18th we will be discussing chapter 10 in the kingdom prayer book. Meet us in the cafeteria at 8:00 am for a time of prayer and disscussion on Tony Evans book. Also we will be serving eggs, bacon ,biscuits and sausage gravey. Hope to see you there.

Hey guys, dont miss tonights mens bible study in room 304 at 6:30.
We'll be looking at James 3:1-12, and how powerful the tongue is.We have the power to build up and strenghthen or to tear down and destroy, these scriptures just remind us of how much weight our words carry.So just remember as you go through your day today how important a compliment or an encouraging word is to someone who is having a rough day. Last wednesday night in our mens group we had a deep discussion in regards to James 2:15-17, how we through our life experiences and the discretion in the Holy Spirit discern who and how we should help homeless people or just people in need around us. Here I believe is the bottom line...we have so many people in need of seeing Gods love out in the world today. If we just ask God in a daily prayer to show us somewhere that we can fulfill a need or just share the Love of Christ he will be pleased with us and the Gospel will be shared through our deeds and words.

Lord help us this day fulfill your will by showing us a need that we can help with. Open our eyes so we know how and where to assist others so that YOU are Glorified! IJN...Amen

Our faith is tested everyday, but as we endure not only does God make us stronger for the next situation but each test has rewards both here and eternally. 2nd Corinthians 4:17-18
