We have some updates to our policies. Please understand 90% of the time everything is great! But there are those moments where things happen and new policies are born. We want to be able to continue t

o bring you great products at great prices, and these policies make that possible! ORDER POLICY: We do ask for at least 7 days lead time for any orders. We do try to take on short notice orders but they can be subject to a rush fee (amount determined based on complexity of the order) due to the shortened timeline to plan, prep, and purchase supplies. PAYMENT POLICY: Applied to all orders, a non-refundable deposit of 50% of your total order must be paid to The Mad Baker at the time of placing the order unless you are told otherwise. Until the deposit is received by The Mad Baker, your order is not considered booked. Please note until the deposit is paid, we can't guarantee your spot is held nor can we guarantee the final design of the cake is exactly as ordered if deposit isn't paid soon enough to purchase the custom supplies specific to your order. The balance of the order then needs to be paid at the time of pickup/delivery. The order can not leave the premises until paid in full! CANCELLATION POLICY: In the event YOU cancel your order, the deposit is not refunded because it has been used to purchase items specific to your order — but up to the full amount paid can potentially be applied to a future order — at bakers full discretion. In the event The Mad Baker cancels your order and it is NOT due to any fault of your own, The Mad Baker will issue you a full refund of any amount paid up to the cancellation date. PICKUP POLICY: Please understand we are a home bakery, but we’re homemakers/moms first. When asked to schedule a pickup time, please set a time that works for you and adhere to that time. If that time needs to change, please contact The Mad Baker ASAP. If you can not pickup within 30 min of scheduled time, you are subject to an additional fee of up to $10 additional per every half hour you’re late.
