Today I made a special cake. Today is our son Landon’s birthday party and he is having a Christmas theme. Christmas crafts, games, treats and even Santa is coming to hand out party favors! Just finished his cake. The snow is super sparkly but it doesn’t show in the picture.

After I posted the popcorn bucket cake I made for my son, I got an order for the same cake for today. Who doesn’t love popcorn ❤️

Hey everyone! I am still recovering from my last knee replacement surgery. The recovery is going much slower this time. I am still not able to do much but I did have an order for cupcakes, mini cupcakes and a cheesecake. I also made a cheesecake for us to have on Mother’s Day. I am not sure when I will be doing well enough to start back baking. I would have already expected to be healed enough by now but this knee is not healing nearly as easily as my left knee. First 3 pictures are of the order and the last is our cheesecake we are going to have today. My 8 year old, Landon helped me decorate our cheesecake. He loves to be my little helper.

Just wanted to let you all know I am on a hiatus again. Back on November 17th 2023 I had my left knee replaced. I recovered well and pretty quickly so I was ready for the right knee. On Friday February 23rd I had my right knee replaced. I will be down till I am well healed. Thanks for your understanding. Hopefully I will be able to start taking orders again soon. I love doing custom cakes, cookies etc…. Hopefully I will be able to resume baking soon. I have more surgeries that are needed but I am hoping to wait at least a year before I get them done

Just a reminder but on Friday I will be having knee replacement and will be down for a while. I will be unable to do thanksgiving orders this year.

Yesterday we had a birthday party for our son. They cracked open geodes, had a box of polished gemstones they got to identify and match up to a chart of different gem. Then they used the stones to make necklaces . They also excavated a gemstone out of a little kit. There was also a lot of running around and screaming🤣. The birthday boy had a lot of fun. Here is the cake I made for the party.

It was a busy day! Halloween themed wedding cake, and a small 1st anniversary cake to freeze and cupcakes and 4 pumpkin cakes for West Jefferson music boosters fundraiser!
