The things I’m grateful for…
When I first moved here from New York in 2006, I missed the amazing food shops- Zabars, Fairway and the gone too soon Dean and Deluca. The people, the food and the culture all seemed to come together in a way that seemed uniquely New York and I missed it terribly. I thought I would never find that in Los Angeles. It was like a piece of home. The warmth, the welcome, not just the amazing cheeses but the wines, the imported foods, the culture but most of all the people.
It’s the way you feel embraced when you walk in the door and they hand you some cheese. And it’s the best cheese you’ve ever had. It is magic.
Dominic and his team just make you feel that same magic every time you walk in the door.
All those years ago I never dreamed that I would one day be selling our products here! Life is funny that way.
And I still get the same thrill every time I walk in the door.
Thank you Dominic, Hilary, Erika, Noah, Eric, Stephen, Lena, Maureen and everyone there for so many delicious memories.
