Growing up a Vegan, in the 90s, it was very tough to find snack options that I was able to eat and would satisfy my cravings. I would spend much time in the kitchen creating my own line of snacks and use my family and friends as the testers. In 2001, knowing my passion for creating healthy alternatives to classic meals and desserts I went to the New York Health Food Institute to become a Natural Foods Chef.
Now as a Mother I look to make products that I would feel happy feeding my own child and family. Let’s face it, we all have a sweet tooth, so it is only fair we make something everyone can devour. I hope you enjoy our goodies as much as we enjoy making them (and eating them).
At AllergySmart we have created a line of products that is safe for all environments and is kid approved. Our focus is to ensure that all our baked goods have that same look, texture and taste but simply removing all the harmful and unhealthy ingredients.Each ingredient used is carefully selected and is of the highest quality. With added protein, fibre and whole grains in all our products, we have provided a way for everyone to get some bonus nutrients while snacking.
