September's yard of the month by tradition is chosen from our garden club members. This year's YOM belongs to Joan Bachman at 515 Grieson in West Fargo. Nestled along the Sheyenne River, Joan has battled drought, bunnies, squirrels, deer and even beavers to create her own peaceful flower lined haven. Joan is not only a wonderful gardener she is also a humanitarian, long time RN and author of "Options Unlimited-We Have Choices". We are so happy one of your unlimited choices was to be a member of Three Rivers Garden Club. Congratulations Joan.

The September yard of the month, which by tradition is chosen from garden club members, belongs to Joan Bachman at 515 Grieson Ave in West Fargo. Nestled along the Sheyenne River, Joan has battled bunnies, squirrels, deer and even beavers to create a flower lined cozy haven. August's Yard of the Month in West Fargo: When Alice and Harley first moved onto their property along the Sheyenne River their backyard was overgrown with brush and weeds. 40 years later their home at 500 1st Ave. NW in West Fargo is filled with beautiful flowers, mature trees and memories. The stately American Linden tree in front was the backdrop for family photos and special moments thru the years. The tree house in the backyard was built for their son, but is now enjoyed by grandkids on summer visits.. Congratulations Harley and Alice for being Three Rivers Garden Club's Yard of the Month for August 2026.

Joan, thank you for your many dedicated years to Three Rivers Garden Club. You remember the days when our numbers were few and now you’ve witnessed it grow and grow. You will be sorely missed and as you say “our garden club is a blessing”.
